College recruiters spend time at Tanka headquarters
Bridget Neconie, Admission and Recruitment Specialist in the Office of Undergraduate Admission at UC Berkeley and Steven Abbott, Associate Director of Admissions/Coordinator of Native Outreach at Dartmouth College, stopped by the Tanka Bar office recently.

The two of them were on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation to visit local schools and speak with students. This was Ms. Neconie's first time to the reservation so she was happy to have run into Mr. Abbott who is familiar with the area.

On their way out of Kyle, the location of our headquarters, they noticed the Tanka Bar sign from the road. Mr. Abbott, an avid fan, pulled into our parking lot. I gave them a tour of the building and they even had a chance to meet our CEO, Karlene Hunter.

They where so amazed at our company and how far we have come. We were glad they took the time to stop in and say hello. We also hope they had an enjoyable week and safe travels home.
