Wheaton College continues interest in Tanka Bar, visits headquarters for another year

My good friend Gene Green, PH.D, Professor of New Testament at Wheaton College, makes our Tanka headquarters his favorite stop when he brings his students to the Pine Ridge Reservation.

Gene Green, PH.D, Professor of New Testament at Wheaton College, makes our Tanka headquarters his favorite stop when he brings his students to the Pine Ridge Reservation.

It is always a treat for both of us when he pays a visit. The students arrived full of questions, curiosity and excitement. They said, by far, our office tour is one of the best. This year's class is one of Gene's favorite summer classes and they expressed a genuine interest in the history and culture of the Tanka Bar. Christine Folch, PH.D., Assistant Professor of Anthropology, is helping Gene again this year.

I truly enjoy watching the expressions on people's faces when they taste a Tanka product for the first time and absolutely enjoy it. I was also extremely grateful and surprised to be honored with heartfelt gifts from the Wheaton College staff and students; it made my day. I accepted them on behalf of all of us here at Tanka Bar.

It was amazing to meet this group of students and it is awesome to know that they are going to do great things. I would like to say, "Thank you" to the staff and students of Wheaton College.
